Chapter by chapter through the short story, please. Even that might be too much to bite off. More dense & interesting world. Mercer, Buster Friendly, Iran’s depression, Mood Organ, Isidore & the andy’s, the OTHER Police Department, etc etc.
Nice that you’re trying, but don’t bother with 2049 & associated properties. Not worth the effort. I’m glad a sequel was made. I just didn’t enjoy it.

Chapter by chapter through the short story, please. Even a chapter will be too much. More and better concepts in PKD’s story. More layers than the movie. Mercer, Buster Friendly, Mood Organ, Iran’s self obsessed depression, Isidore, Pris, the OTHER Police Department – it’s such a rich world.
Don’t bother with 2049 & associated properties. Not worth the effort. I’m glad a sequel got made, I just didn’t enjoy it.
